Why? Growing up my father was a maintenance engineer for AlliedSignal. He was the one they called and wanted to be close in case issues occurred on the manufacturing line. He would come home and share how he would assess and address the issues faced in the world of manufacturing. His love for manufacturing became my love for manufacturing.
October 3rd is Manufacturing Day, and it addresses common misperceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a coordinated effort, what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t.
